Layout and Living

The apartment is arranged as a true residence: two bedrooms, two full baths, an open living and dining room, and a separate kitchen within a nineteenth‑century Cambridge townhouse. Wide‑plank pine floors, restored millwork, and original details throughout make it feel like a home with history, not a generic furnished apartment.

An interior stair connects the third and fourth floors of the townhouse, with the living, dining, and kitchen on one level and the bedrooms and baths on the other. The simple vertical circulation makes the apartment easy to understand from the first arrival, with shared spaces gathered for everyday routines and private rooms set apart on the upper level for quiet and rest.

Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen is meant for real cooking, not just reheating. Full‑size appliances include a Sub‑Zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, LG stacked washer and dryer, and a JennAir cooktop with wall oven and microwave. A complete set of cookware, tools, and tableware makes it straightforward to prepare and serve meals.

With a breakfast nook for three, a bar counter for two, and an office that converts into a separate dining room for six, there is always a comfortable place to sit - whether for a quick breakfast, dinner after work, or having friends over at home instead of making another restaurant reservation.

Design and Character

The interiors have been carefully assembled and furnished to create an apartment with more warmth and individuality than typical corporate housing. The apartment carries a sense of history and place, reflecting the character of East Cambridge rather than a generic short-term rental formula.​

Four large triptychs by photographer Esther Pullman are the principal artwork in the main living spaces. They are designed to give the apartment a unifying visual presence and a calm, nature‑inspired sense of structure.
